This paper used nonlinear finite element to analyzed the mechanical behavior of lattice steel tubular concrete-filled three-limb wind turbine tower, and also analyzed the influence of each control parameters on the failure mode and ultimate bearing capacity of the lattice tower. providing a theoretical basis for engineering applications of the tower.
Because the tower and foundation were rigidly connected in actual engineering, the bottom of the tower was imposed full constraints when modeling.
