Abstract.
It has the merits of low cost, excellent crystal structure, surface area and pore size distribution.
The 10% catalyst aid can improve the catalyst performance in redox reactions, electron migration, active content distribution and crystal structure.
The BET surface area and pore structure were measured based upon physical nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms by using ASAP 2010 instrument, produced by Micromeritics USA.

The film structure was examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) using JEOL-diffractometer type PX160, Ni filtered Cu-Ka radiation has used with slow scanning speed (20/min.).
The high transmittance of the film is attributed to the small particle size and homogeneous surface structure, which eliminate light scattering [15].
The sample showed no evidence of conversion from an amorphous to crystalline structure even at annealing temperatures up to 400 0C.

Turbine engine manufacturers produce polycrystalline disk alloys with well-controlled chemistry, grain structure, and mechanical properties in order to extend operational lifetimes and increase engine efficiency[1-3].
However, the complications of grain structure control and its resultant influence on design and processing of disk materials makes optimization of current and new disk materials time consuming and expensive.
By using a commercial apparat ures for EBSD measurements, it is possible to measure the crystal orientations, for example, grain boundary structure, grain boundary energy, misorientation and grain orientation, of more than 200 points per second by scanning the surface of samples and to obtain mapping data of crystal orientations without difficulty.
However, the complications of grain structure control and its resultant influence on design and processing of disk materials makes optimization of current and new disk materials time consuming and expensive.

Abstract.
Other than the typical β-nickel hydroxide and α-nickel hydroxide, amorphous nickel hydroxide, which has an ideal disordered structure, is also a kind of very promising electrode active material for high performance nickel based batteries due to its large specific discharge capacity, high electrochemical reaction reversibility, and good cyclic stability [8-9].
In our previous work, we synthesized amorphous nickel hydroxide, which had an ideal disordered structure, by chemical precipitation method combined with rapid quench technique [10].
This irregular shape of amorphous Ni(OH)2 can be due to the preparation conditions, but the main reason is caused by the structure characteristics of the sample itself (amorphous).
