The present study has been focused on the effects of the friction-mechanical treatment producing the fine size grain structure and the favorable internal stress state within the treated layer on the increase in resistance to corrosion, cavitation, wear and on hydrogen absorption by the treated surface layer of steels.
steels highly depend on the material structure and hardness.

For different kinds of plant fiber raw materials, the content and structure of hemicelluloses is quite different.
The reason is that wood structure was loosened by pretreatment which made chemical penetration easier and delignification faster.
A30 (2003), p. 279-291 [2] Shuhui Yang, in: The chemistry of plants fibers, edited by Light Industry Publishing, Beijing (2001), in press.

The crystalline quality and crystal structure of the TiO2 and Ag-TiO2 samples were examined by XRD and the diffractograms are shown in Fig. 1.
The O 1s wide peak structure for Ag-TiO2 at 530.79 eV (FWHM 1.36 eV) is at a similar energy to the O 1s electron binding energy for TiO2, where a narrow peak has a slight asymmetry with a binding energy of 529.81 eV (FWHM 1.15 eV).

Up to now, many fuel vendors and utilities
have made efforts to develop a high performance fuel with an improved economy and reliability by
considering the development of new materials, improvement of the water chemistry, design
improvement for strengthened grid structures, etc.
Above all, due to a high level radiation and an enormous expense, there are very few methods to confirm whether the wear-resistance is increased in the operating conditions of nuclear power plants when an improvement of the grid structures based on analytical studies is applied to the design of a fuel assembly.

Corrosion is a destructive and cost-bearing phenomenon for every industry dealing with metallic structures.
Multiphase pipelines of oil & gas gathering systems are more vulnerable to corrosion phenomena as a result of complicated water chemistry, presence of acid gasses such as CO2 and H2S, multiphase flow, etc.
