Capacity of the wall exposed with predominantly vertical load Bearing capacity of unreinforced walls in relation to the vertical load, must be based on the geometry of the wall, on the impact of present eccentricity and on the properties of used materials for building.
Applicable and European standards consider the same influential factors when it comes to carrying capacity of the wall under pressure.

In high speed machine tool many key factors like geometric, cutting force and thermal errors decides the performance of the machine.
However amongst these three, error due to thermal deformation is an important factor in influencing the accuracy level of component produced.
Kolar et al [9] have proposed thermo-mechanical model of grinding machine spindle using FEA to predict spindle properties.
The essence on thermal aspects can be summarized as below: Thermal issues significantly affect properties such as stiffness, life, accuracy of machine tool structures and hence the accuracy of components being produced.

The density of paraffin wax is its intrinsic physical property.
In this paper, it is considered that the physical properties of paraffin wax with a melting point of 58℃ are consistent with that of n-tetracosane.
Since the specific heat value is less affected by temperature, it can be considered as a constant value in the practical calculation.
Finally, the paraffin expands to produce mechanical work, which could be negligible in low-pressure conditions.
It is found that the volumetric expansion properties of PCMS should be fully considered when calculating the buoyancy of BCM.

They started on Sunday 2012 May 20th and Tuesday 2012 May 29th and affected the provinces of Ferrara, Bologna, Modena and Reggio Emilia [1].
So, in the initial analysis phase the structure geometrical model is defined (Fig. 5a) and, consequently, the mechanical properties are assigned to masonry elements.
On the basis of the poor information on the building, a limited knowledge factor with a confidence factor of 1.35 has been assumed for structural analysis.
The used fibre-reinforced materials have the following mechanical properties: E = 280000 MPa, ffd = 4100 MPa and e = 1.46 %.
The combination of these variable geometrical factors has led towards 20 analyses, whose results have been compared each other in terms of a risk index.

Apart from smoothing, which is one of the important paper properties requiring expensive furnishing, the thin nano-fiber webs (tn-webs) also held the paper structure firmly by plunging of the nano-fibers into the gaps between the micro-fibers.
Beyond packaging works that has famed EFB as a wealth factor, the fibers are also found suitable for newsprint and printing grade products.
Printability by one definition [3] or the other, then, becomes one of the deciding competency factors.
The key factors for the good printability of Waldron, therefore, lie entirely on the fiber characteristics.
The correct synergy between the alkaline peroxide and the pressure for mechanical fibrillation, therefore affect paper web formation by the engendered smoothing effects from TN-webs.

It can be used to detect various properties of solar cells, such as carrier diffusion length, low efficiency regions, and invisible cracks, etc.
Among them, the invisible crack is a key factor affecting whether a PV module can provide long-term and stable power generation.
To enhance the mechanical strength of the modules, we use 1 mm glass fiber plate as the substrate, Teflon as the cover sheet, and EVA as the laminating material.

Introduction Ball bearings are important for mechanical elements that support and guide the rotating parts of many machines and engineering equipments.
PEEK (Poly-Ether-Ether-Ketone) is one of the polymers with high mechanical properties such as strength, wear resistance and thermal characteristics.
PEEK ball bearings were also investigated, and it was found that the main factor affecting their lives depended on environments.

The different parameters to specify are the position of the Gaussian kernels (Ci), their variances (σi), and the multiplicative factors (λi).
The shredded material is separated using methods based on magnetic, density or other properties of the materials.
The mismatch is due to factors external to the product technical characteristics.
These external factors are influenced by the organization of the value chain and developments in the market.

Despite the apparent simplicity of the experimental setup, thermosonics involves a number of factors, e.g. acoustic horn location, horn crack proximity, horn-sample coupling etc., that significantly tend to influence both the degree and the period of the excitation.
Introduction The durability of composite laminates based products can be affected by delaminating damage, which may develop to failures when structural components are under fatigue loading [1].
Thermosonics was experimentally optimized by taking into account different factors, such as the period of excitation, the frequency frame rate, the position of the horn tip on the inspected surface etc.
The (k) factor was evaluated by fitting the thermal decay, figure 4 (a), from the 200th frame.
