Mechanical bonding force between the negatively and the positively-charged atoms at two absolutely clean metallic surfaces could be generated when bringing the two surfaces closely together.
Nevertheless, the contaminant layers will fracture at the contact interfaces as the growing of pressure and the virgin metal can extrude through the cracks of the broken layers and contact with each other closely until mechanical bond is established [3, 4].
It has been reported that the strength of pressure welding is affected by various parameters [4, 5] such as the metal under consideration, the surface preparation, the thickness of the sheet, the temperature etc.
Experimental results and discussion The EAPW process is a very complex procedure, which involves a lot of factors such as welding force, material property, temperature, current intensity etc.
It was also supported by Key Laboratory of Surface Functional Structure Manufacturing of Guangdong Higher Education Institutes, South China University of Technology (SFS-KF201004K), State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing (Wuhan University of Technology)-2011-KF-9 and the Research Project of the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration (No.

One of the requirements was the monitoring of the dimensional, mechanical and environmental performance of these bricks at 6-month intervals.
The samples were submitted to physical, mechanical, chemical and environmental analyses.
The results obtained showed that the addition of 2.5% PS does not affect the physical, mechanical and environmental properties of bricks.
In spite of this 2% variation, the resistance to compression of these bricks was not affected.
Conclusion The analysis of several technical and environmental factors along a 5-year period in the production of PSBs, which included 10 sampling batches, indicate that the technical behavior of this product is appropriate.

In particular, to improve surface cleanability properties the photocatalycity of TiO2 nanoparticles has been used.
The powders present a better photoactivity for degradation of dye in aqueous solution under UV and visible light even if it was found that the amount of doped iron ions plays a significant role in affecting its photocatalytic activity.

For the main purpose of improving the environmental properties of the furniture within the life-cycle and making its life-cycle cover the sections of design, manufacturing, delivery, usage, disposition and so on, the ecological design of furniture subject to green manufacturing combines the environmental philosophy and ecological furniture design.
Energy, resource and environment have already directly affected our country’s adjustment of economic structure and transform of the economic growth pattern, becoming a bottleneck against the national strategy of building a well-off society in an all-round way[4].
The environmental factors of the design for the furniture products are detailed to examine whether they are in constant with the he test results of the ecological design after the production of furniture products.
On the other, this subsystem facilitate the establishment of the service platform for the furniture enterprise, contributing to the provision of professional services of information, technological, credit, intellectual property rights and training for the furniture enterprises.
The technical principle mostly consists of the physical properties (density, electric conductivity), mechanical properties (The hardness, strength, ductility, toughness, wear resistance) and chemical properties (Oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance).

This paper is a review of the marvelous development of mathematical and computer
models that describe the fundamentals of microstructure evolution during the solidification of cast
alloys, from the 1966 seminal paper by Oldfield, the first to attempt computational modeling of
microstructure evolution during solidification, to the current prediction of mechanical properties.
Dendrites with crystallographic orientation aligned with the axis were also affected.
Mapping of microstructure evolution through computational modeling made possible mapping of mechanical properties, in a clear departure of the older approaches in predicting mechanical properties from statistical models relying on composition and cooling rate, or from numerical models using criteria functions.
A complete model for prediction of static mechanical properties of LG and SG irons was proposed by Catalina, Guo and coworkers [32,51].
The model included the effects of inoculation, as well as prediction of graphite morphology, microstructure length scale, room temperature microstructure, and mechanical properties.

It would be interesting to carry out some study, which would also affect socioeconomic factors, for example, on whether the fact that the year with the most publications is 2020, with a subsequent drop in them, is related to the crisis suffered by the aeronautical industry after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parts manufactured by combining LMD and milling achieve mechanical properties comparable to those obtained by forging and machining.
The microstructure of the Ti-6Al-4V parts fabricated using p-LMD (Powder Laser Metal Deposition), as well as their tensile properties, can be adjusted to the requirements of the aeronautical industry through different heat treatments.
During the study they collect actual prices for 5 mechanical/aircraft parts from multiple AM manufacturers.
· No studies have been identified that address the manufacturing and analysis (microstructure, mechanical properties, roughness, and surface integrity) of real aeronautical parts, whose characteristics can be compared with the same parts manufactured using traditional processes (casting or forging plus machining).

When designing concretes with SCMs, the effects of such supplements on mechanical and durability properties should be taken into account.
The “water/cement ratio” is replaced with the formula for an “effective w/c ratio” Eq. 1: (w/c)eff = water/(cement + k × SCM) (1) where k is the efficiency factor (or k-value) defined as the part of a SCM which can be considered as equivalent to a Portland cement having the same properties (obviously k = 1 holds true for Portland cement).
The k-factor may be time-dependent and influenced also by curing conditions, the type and amount of SCM, and exposure conditions.
Since low-calcium fly ash (3.69 % CaO) was used as an SCM in experiment [9], three k-value alternatives were investigated in the case of model a: (a) k = 0.2 as recommended in EN 206 [3] for the composition and properties of concrete in the case of using fly ash and CEM I 32.5; b) k = 0.4, which is presented in the revised version of EN 206 [5] and (c) k = 0.5.
- The k-value should not only reflect strength characteristics but also take account of resistance against different degradation effects considering time-dependence, the type and grain size of the cement and supplementary cementing materials used, curing, and other factors.
