A NCD film can achieve high n-type conductivity (101-102 Ω-1cm-1) even at room temperature by nitrogen incorporation into the sp2 carbon phase in diamond grain boundaries [1].
This is consistent with the previous work; the number of minority carriers increases with decreasing the resistivity due to increasing overlap of the defect bands in NCD films [2].
