FE Model and Validation Analysis FE Model The FE model is built up based on the case study, which is published by Ahmetoglu et al., 1997)[4].
It can be seen from the fig. that the displacement at the upper free end of the tube is about 12.7 mm. this value is the same initial axial feed used by Ahmetoglu et al., 1997 [4].
The initial axial feed and all other tube and process parameters are the same as in the investigations of Ahmetoglu et al., 1997 [4].
There heavy fluctuations in the curves of Ahmetoglu et al., 1997 [4] at the lower end of the and in the bulging region, where wrinkles may occur.

The test results showed that addition of titanium by electrolysis is an effective way to refine the grain size of Zn-Al alloy.
Experimental materials and procedure The chemical composition of tested ZA48 alloy is shown in Table 1, which was prepared in a graphite crucible by melting pure Al, Zn, Mg and Al-50%Cu alloy.
Al3Ti particle has a body-centred cubic structure, its lattice constant a=b=0.3844nm,c=0.8596nm,which is very close to that of Al(a=0.4049nm).
Therefore, the TiAl3 particles could serve as the nuclei and refined α (Al) phase effectively.
