However, a small peak (3.9 nm) was shown in the pore size distributions of TS-1 with beta-CD, which indicate that some mesoporous channel were appeared, the result was caused by special structure of external hydrophilic and internal hydrophobic groups of beta-CD.

Silicon oxycarbide glasses from gel hybrid structures Y.
Ohridski 8, Sofia-1756, Bulgaria 2 Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Bulgarian Academy of Science, Acad.
Transformation of the hybrid structure into oxycarbide was followed by SEM, FTIR, 29Si CP MAS NMR, BET analysis.
Silicon oxycarbide structure is strongly influenced from the concentration and nature of modifying metal atom.
The spectra obtained after pyrolysis at 1100 o C show similar IR profile typical of oxycarbide structure [7].

Carbon nanoparticle from lignin require improvement of the structure.
In this study, we investigated the influence of acid treatment on the structure of carbon nanoparticles obtained from waste lignin.
That impregnation with 10% concentration of H3PO4 sample yields the most porous structure means that this concentration is the most suitable for improving the porous structure of the resulting carbon.

Introduction In the past decade, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), which was an enhancement of Raman scattering intensity observed when molecules adsorb onto the metal surface [1], was widely applied in single molecule detection [2], surface chemistry [3], cancer detection [4], material analysis [5], etc.
The basic principle of making SERS-active substrates lied on excitation of localized surface plasmon resonance enhancement (hot spot) of a nanostructured surface or nanoparticle.hs1 Based on this principle, a number of promising nano-structures have been developed for creating hot spots, such as nanoparticles, nanorods, nanocrystal and other specially nanostructures (nano-rice, nano-crescent, nano-bowl, single nanowire, tip enhancementetc.[7]).
However, there were considerable technical challenges to reproducibly place nano-structures on to the surface due to easy oxidation and repeated purification.
Calculated model Three-dimensional finite-difference time domain (3D-FDTD) method carried out using FDTD solution software was employed to investigate the electric field enhancement properties of the silver nano-hemisphere on structure.

A novel way to synthesize mesoporous silica coated on the CNTs with larger holes based on “MCM-41” CNTs@SiO2 Wenrui Zheng1, a, Min Zhang2,b , Jingli Xu1,c, Tao Huang1,d 1 College of Chemistry and Chemical engineering, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Shanghai 201620, P.

Results and discussion The morphological structure of mesoporous CNTs@SiO2 before and after hydrothermaled with NiCl2 was characterized by TEM.
The (100) diffraction peaks of mesoporous silcica coated on CNTs were 2q = 2.6–3.4º(Fig.3), which indicated the presence of a mesoporous structure, while the peaks for mesoporous nickel siliceous coated on CNTs at 2q = 2.6–3.4º was not observed.

Results and Discussion Structure of Nano-silica Particles Characterized by IR Spectroscopy.
The structure of these silica particles was analyzed by IR spectra.
Fig. 1 IR spectra of pure silica and silica powders modified with different concentration of HDTMS As Fig. 1 shown, the intense absorption band at 1093 cm-1 and 800 cm-1 attribute to the bending and stretching vibration of Si-O-Si bonds respectively, which confirms the polysilicone structure inside the particles.
