The factors responsible for friction from bracket and archwire interface include: the size and shape of the wire, bracket type, bracket and wire materials, angulation of the wire relative to the bracket, type of ligation, environment (wet or dry), and surface coating.
Previous studies had investigated Methane (CH4) and Tetrafluoromethane (CF4) Plasma-Based Ion Implantation (PBII) to modify the surfaces of materials such as metals, plastics and ceramics.

To understand the strength behavior of solidified waste matrices as building materials, sewage sludge as a kind of municipal solid waste had been solidified/stabilized by a binder constituted of Portland cement and stone material powder.
Some researches have been reported that the strength of solidified sludge matrices can meet the requirement of materials for road use or other building materials[4,5,6].
Stone material powder is a kind of material waste produced during the stone materials polished process and is found feasible to substitute for part of Portland cement as a solidifying aid.
