Simulation and Experiment on the Residual Stress
in Super-High Speed Grinding

Particularly in the cylindrical super high speed grinding process, the machining mechanism has changed with the increase of grinding speed, with the limit of the experiment equipment and other conditions, the experiment research on super-high speed grinding is little in civil, the finished surface of the shaft parts under cyclic loading should be processed by grinding, which promotes the technology of super high speed grinding applied in actual to increase the production efficiency, but cylindrical grinding may cause the residual tensile stress, which produce the fatigue and crack in the area[1-3].
