For the connection stiffness and strength prediction, Eurocode has showed an inadequacy as it will be affected by the thin-walled behaviour of cold-formed steel in actual structural performance.
Eurocode 3 Stiffness Prediction Top-seat flange cleat connection is analysed in accordance to the mechanical model given in EC3-1-8.
With referring to Table 2, the strength prediction of Eurocode has shown a conservative value as the analysis is not included the strain hardening effect for cold-formed steel actual properties.
Hence, corrected factor will be suggested based on Eurocode stiffness prediction.

The ever increasing scarcity in wood affects on the decreasing of fishing vessel population of sizes below 30 GT.
The main step in selecting an adhesive for bamboo lamination is doing research on technical and economic factors of various types of glue.
Fishing boats operating in sea water (salinity values specified) makes the life of laminated bamboo relatively short due to their environmental factors.

Therefore, keen interest is taken to date in experimental studies of austenitic stainless steel single crystals whose strength properties are enhanced significantly due to the occurrence of interstitial impurity and extension axis orientation [1].
The above experimental evidence strongly suggests that the plastic deformation localization parameter V is affected by the strength characteristics of steels, which are determined by the single crystal geometry.
In our experiments an enhancement in material strength properties, a changeover in the regular features of material work hardening and in the micro-mechanisms involved in the deformation (glide or twinning) have been attained by variation in the extension axis orientation of high-manganese steels monocrystals.

Zhu et al. [48] studied the properties of ethylene-bridged sph-PMO in reversed phase HPLC mode.
The physical-chemistry and chromatography properties were characterized.
However, the addition of ethanol can affect the morphology of the material.
The capacity factor of amylbenzene denotes as k’, which reflects the amount of alkyl in the material; The capacity factor of amylbenzene divided by that of butylbenzene denotes as α, which reflects the hydrophobicity of the material; the ratio of the capacity factors of 9,10-benzphenanthrene and ortho-terphenyl denotes as αT/O, which reflects the stereoselective of the material; the capacity factor of caffeine devided by that of phenol denotes as αC/P, which reflects the amount of residual slianol; and the ratio capacity factor of benzylamine devided by the factor of phenol denotes as αA/P, which reflects the ion-exchange capacity of the material.
The amount of BTMSPMA has great effects on the structural properties and chemical composition of the materials.

The in situ formed reinforcing particles are finer in size and their distribution in the matrix is more uniform, which is beneficial to mechanical properties.
The results showed that TiC particles were formed in situ in the coatings and the wear properties of the coatings were significantly enhanced.
And the wear rate in a block on ring test against hardened steel was reduced by a factor of five.
They similarly exhibit a stepwise characteristic and can be divided into three regions: coating, heat affected zone (HAZ) and substrate, respectively.
Compared with the pure nickel based alloy coating, the hardness and wear properties of the composite coating are significantly enhanced in virtue of the presence of in situ synthesized NbC particles and their well distribution in the coating.

The physical-chemical properties are shown in Table 1.
Because the bonding surface between the two refractory samples at an angle of 45°, the two samples smeared with the cement slurry are easy to move when they are subjected to mechanical vibration and heat treatment without the support of the stents, which will affect test results.
When the calcination temperature is determined, the effect of holding time on the properties of coating adherence of refractories was studied.
The property of coating adherence is characterized quantitatively by the bonding strength.

were embedded and analysed concerning the resulting properties.
Process-Principle of EMF.As the energy density of a pulsed magnetic field is used for the contactless forming of a workpiece, the resulting deformation is closely related to the electromagnetic properties.
Besides the grooves geometry its shape is a major influencing factor on the joint as well.

Stud shear connector corrosion is an important factor for the durability degradation of steel-concrete composite structures.
Therefore, stud corrosion is an important factor for the durability degradation of steel-concrete composite structures.
This article, through the constant current acceleration simulation test, will research the rules of how stud corrosion affects stud’s bearing capacity and the mechanical properties of steel-concrete composite beams after the corrosion of studs.

The economic analysis addresses a number of factors which are reflected by the costs of purchase and use of the vehicle, namely: fuel costs, consumptions, engine purchase and possible engine adaptations.
Smart engines costs analysis This analysis considers the following factors: - Engines acquisition price; - Gasoline engine adaptation price for LPG, GN and ethanol; - Cost of annual usage of each fuel.
Honda and Perkins engines costs analysis This analysis considers the following factors: - Engines acquisition price; - Gasoline engine adaptation price for LPG, GN and ethanol; - Cost of annual usage of each fuel.
The high price of the Perkins affects all fuels targeted for this engine.

They are also attractive in application to the aircraft and automobile parts for increasing the fuel efficiency and the transportation speed; however, their poor mechanical properties, especially, their low high temperature strength hinder the wide application of magnesium alloys.
The size factor of aluminum in magnesium lsf(Al/Mg) is -13.73% [[] H.
This value does not have large difference with the size factor of yttrium in magnesium lsf(Y/Mg) roughly estimated by XRD analysis of Mg-Y solid solution alloys in absolute value (+11%).
Zinc has little effect for changing stacking fault energy, but an attractive interaction occurs between zinc and yttrium atoms in hcp magnesium lattice because the values of their size factor in magnesium are negative and positive, respectively (lsf(Zn/Mg) = -20.00% [13], lsf(Y/Mg) = +11%).
However, the activation of a-dislocations are predominantly in most of the grains, thereby the cross-slip and/or prismatic slip affects creep rate in the Mg-Y and Mg-Y-Zn based alloy as the rate-controlling mechanism at the temperature range from 480 to 570 K.
