In the mining sector hazard is a result of: · psychical and moral depreciation of the equipments and facilities (e. g. mechanized installations for exploitation, dragline excavators, equipment for perforation / drilling, ore transportation equipment, equipment for the production of compressed air and water drainage, ventilation installations, extraction installations, equipment for preparation plants, equipment for automation and dispatching) used in underground and surface mining; · lack of advanced equipment for the execution of preparation and opening works; · poor conditions health and safety at work (e.g. increased risk regarding safety of workers from stopes) and delays in the execution of investment for the commissioning of new capacities (with implications for the production capacity); · building abandoned to the mining areas, due to the reduction of production, the number of staff and space requirements, degradation of roads and access routes to the main and auxiliary buildings
