Keywords: cavitation vibration amplitude, cathodic polarization, hydrogen permeation rate, stress
Abstract
Hydrogen ingress into a metal has been observed at cavitation in distilled water and in 3% NaCl solution at open circuit potential.
It should be noted that in the case of cathodic polarization applied in this study, no degradation of the iron structure was stated.
