The expansion may get strong with time and change the uniform previous structure of concrete to result in the deformation, expansion and destroy of the building( M.D.A.
At the second stage, the amount of expansion materials generate great expansion stress, destroy the pore structure and expand the small cracks.

The platinum film (Figure 2 (a)) showed scale-like structures with polyhedrons granules, Figure 2 (b) showed a uniform and compact coverage of the carbon black with small spherical particles, whereas conglomeration of the LaCoO3 particles was observed as shown in Figure 2 (c).
