In this study, corncobs were made into nitrite adsorbent materials through physical and chemical modification[2].
The experiment shows that efficient functional polymer adsorbent materials for nutrite in seawater can be made from corncobs through modification.
At room temperature, we dried the branches and peanuts’ shells and preparated them as contrastive adsorbent materials.
Fig.4 Contrast of adsorption effects between different adsorbent materials Conclusions In this experiment, corncobs were the main research objects, some other commonly used nitrite adsorbent materials including filter cotton, ammonia absorption stones, peanut shells and branches constituted the contrastive group. 1.0mol/L phosphoric acid solution was used to modify some of the materials, and spectrophotometry was used to measure the nitrite adsorption capacity of all materials.

KNN ceramics are an typical dielectric materials, which are widely used to prepare thermistor and electro-optic ceramics and devices [8,9].
The dielectric properties of KNN ceramics are not only closely related to the properties of materials, but also depends on the density and the grain size [10].
The starting materials Na2CO3, K2CO3, Nb2O5, Li2CO3,Sb2O3 and CuO for the given composition were weighed as per the required stoichiometric molecular formula.
Crystal structure of the materials was examined using X-ray diffractomete (X’Pert PRO MPD, Holland).
