The interaction between rare earth and components in aluminum alloy will produce a series of metallurgical physical chemistry actions to have the important effect on the properties and microstrucutres of aluminum alloy.
In the microstructure of the alloy with addition of Pr, there are obvious changes in the size of fine primary α-Al grains with round-like structure and uniform distribution.
