Several pyrochlore and perovskite materials have shown promising physical and thermal properties for use as complementary upper layer of YSZ in the FGM TBC system.
These materials exhibit lower thermal conductivity and higher thermal stability than YSZ [2,5,6].
To remedy this shortcoming, the candidate materials were tried as complementary topcoat for YSZ in double layer systems.

INTRODUCTION Coupling effects which promote induced magnetization by electric fields and induced polarization by magnetic fields have added a new direction in materials research and found a new type of materials the so-called multiferoic [1].
Included in Fig.1 are mean crystallite (or grain) sizes of sintered milled materials for respectively B7ST and B3SF samples.
When milled particles for both materials are co-milled and sintered, the XRD identification showed that the material is roaming a mixture, no decomposition or transformation.
