Abstract: The microstructures and corrosion properties of AZ91 magnesium alloy with trace
additions of Sc were investigated.
Experimental procedure The materials used were 99.7%Mg, 99.99% Al, 99.9% Zn and Mg-Sc master alloy (2.03Sc wt%).

Two fundamentally different loops within a circular system have distinguished: the reuse of products and materials (upcycling) and recycling materials (downcycling).
The circular economy introduces the possibility of reusing raw materials from discarded products, thus increasing the materials' life cycle.
This project, which is called Cork-a-Tex (yarn manufacture with cork waste from domestic consumption), and is the winner of the Techtextil Innovation Award 2019 in the New Materials category.

Therefore point defects in NiO crystals considered as an ideal solution for doping with other materials.
Figure 1(c) illustrates the effect of ZrO2 as a dopant material on lattice distortion of NiO.
