Vanadium alloys in the composition range around V-4Cr-4Ti have been proposed as candidate materials for fusion reactor applications and structures.
The development of post-yield dislocation structures results in a strain-hardening component, σε.
The results cannot be directly interpreted in terms of the underlying microstructure and alloy chemistry since this investigation focused on a specific vanadium alloy condition.
