Abstract: Thermoplastic tapioca starch(TPS) was prepared with the mixed plasticizer, formamide and urea (mass ratio 2:1).
This met the UL94 V-0 level, which testified that MHRTPS was a good fire-retardant materials. 4.Conclusions As flame retardant and enforcement, magnesium hydroxide could effectively improve the tensile strength, elastic modulus and thermal stability of TPS matrix, because of their similarly chemical structure, making a good adhesion and hydrogen-bonded forming action between starch and magnesium hydroxide.

Conversion of the dibromide derivative to its corresponding diethynyl congener can be readily achieved following the typical organic synthetic protocols for alkynylation of aromatic halides.[9] The Pt alkynyl compound P were prepared by the Sonogashira-type dehydro- halogenation between the diethynyl precursor and suitable platinum chloro precursor.[10] Dinuclear complexe M consisting of a well-defined structure was also made to serve as good molecular model system to investigate the spectroscopic and photophysical properties of the corresponding polymer.
