Introduction Zeolites are a large group of crystalline, porous materials with a broad diversity of structure, porosity and chemical composition.
This new structure can be interpreted as a foam structure.
By using a special type of synthesis mixtures (clear solutions with low viscosity) it is even possible to synthesis homogeneous zeolite layers on microcellular structures with a cell size in the µm-range [34].

It implies disorientation of cellulose structure in the surface after modification with GMA.
These results were also reported [11] that GMA-grafted cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) showed a loss of CNC crystal structure after grafting which resulted in changes to the NC crystal structure and reduced peak intensity in GMA-grafted CNC.
The 20% GMA grafted cellulose sample experienced two stages of weight loss, where the first stage occurs at a temperature of 30-1000C caused by water loss in the grafting cellulose structure.
The second stage occurs at a temperature of 240-4800C, experiencing thermal degradation of the grafted cellulose structure.
XRD data shows that GMA grafted cellulose experienced a slight decrease in crystallinity which implies GMA only slightly affects the cellulose structure, although disorientation of the cellulose structure occurs.

This result indicates that the Cu-Mn based catalyst made by pure NaOH precipitator shows strong physical structure, whereas the sample made by KOH precipitator has weak structure.
The dried Cu-Mn sample precipitated by the pure KOH only consists of the hydrate basic copper sulfate, Cu4SO4(OH)6·H2O (JCPDS 20-0364) with a typical layer-structure[4].
It is interesting that the all dried samples were transferred to the spinel structured Cu1.5Mn1.5O4 after calcining at 550℃ (Fig.2-b) no matter what precipitator were used.
Conclusions Precipitating agents, KOH and NaOH, are important parameters to affect phase structure and texture of the Cu-Mn based WGS catalyst, especially the activity and stability of copper-manganese WGS catalyst.
This is a structure weak material and was transferred to low surface area, and low intensity of solid solution, Cu1.5Mn1.5O4 and then to microcrystalline Cu and MnO, which resulted in poor catalyst activity.

Beading is a common phenomenon which causes electrospun fibrils to form a chain-like structured fibre with irregularly sized “beads”.

The advantage of traditional anodizing is the ability to form oxide layers with a regular structure and a controlled length of the pores [3].

In general, crystal structure of PLA shows the WAXD pattern of a (110)/(200) reflection and a (203) reflection [8].
This suggested the PLA sheet consisted of mainly amorphous structure without an alignment.
This hinted that crystal structure of PLA was nucleated but randomly dispersed in the sheet sample.
Moreover, a two-point SAXS pattern was observed along machine direction, indicating arrangement of lamellar structure with a long period of 25 nm.

It was found earlier that electrolytes with a submicrometer- or nanometer-scaled structure can have an improved charge transport performance [4].
