Mechanism of Early Cracking and Serviceability of Precast Reinforced Concrete Bridge Deck Slabs Juan Huang and Liqun Tang Department of Civil Engineering, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou 510641, China cvjuanhuang@scut.edu.cn Keywords: Reinforced concrete, Slab, Cracking, Serviceability.
This paper has solved the problems in engineering practice, furthermore effective and economical crack control measurement and technical proposal are recommended from design, construction and amendment of design specifications.
In engineering practice, the conventional simply-supported beam is indeed seldom likely to crack on self-weight loading because of the generally favorable span-depth ratio.
With highway bridges overloading increasing, for bridge engineers, there is no better choice but to substitute 13 m precast slab members with prestressed concrete hollow slabs to control cracks caused by self-weight loading.

From an engineering point of view ECBM recovery is thus an adsorption/desorption process at supercritical conditions in a natural underground coal formation, which is accomplished by injecting CO2 in one or more injection wells and by collecting CH4 from one or more production wells.
The knowledge of how the adsorption or desorption of gases affects coal permeability is important not only to operations involving the production of natural gas from coal beds, but also to the design and operation of projects to sequester greenhouse gases in coal beds[9]. 1.Governing equations In many cases in reservoir engineering, the storage of fluids is dominated by storage in the matrix, whereas permeability is dominated by fluid flow in fractures.

Forty two percent of all these civil disputes taken place in China stemmed from project contracts, with some of them are cases that involve casualty accidents, which is serious enough to raise attention of building enterprises.
Being the centralized reflection of engineering risks, proprietor risks and external factor risks together with the project contract risk is the uncertainty that exists alongside a contract.
Exerting direct influences on contractors’ economic benefits, engineering changes, which includes alternations in design, technical schemes, project quantities, are common in the construction process.
Meanwhile, the contractor has to assume the risk of engineering changes—unit price risk within the engineering change scope specified by the contract[6].
