Abstract.
The SiOC foam ceramics were prepared using polyurethane sponge and polysiloxane as raw materials.
Introduction Foam ceramics possess favorable properties, such as high porosity, large specific surface area, high thermal shock resistance, high temperature resistance, high chemical resistance, fine mechanical strength and filtrated property, which make them good candidates for materials of heat exchange, materials of resistance to heat and sound, carrier of chemical catalyst, device of liquid metal filtration, and so on [1~3].

Abstract.
And the assessment of relative Gibbs energy between different crystalline structures of pure elements, i.e., the lattice stability parameters, is the most important foundation of CALPHAD, the powerful tool in research and development of new materials[1,2].
Theoretically, they are the most promising methods in materials design in spite of their complication of calculations.

Compared to computerized tomography (CT), which is a standard tool in medical diagnostics and non-destructive testing of materials, ERT has many advantages in cost, speed and safety.
ERT is based on the principal that different materials have different electrical conductivity properties.
