The results show that the oxide impurity reduction mechanism is effective even in short sintering time in ECAS.

Briefly, 2D silicon nanocrystals were obtained by reduction of SiBr4 (SiCl4) with potassium in 1,2-dimethoxyethane, and the remaining bromide ligands on the nc-Si surface were replaced by perfluorophenyl groups by adding the nc-Si dispersion to the 20% excess of perfluorophenyllithium prepared from bromopentafluorobenzene and lithium amalgam.
