Keywords: Xi’an subway, shield construction, surface settlement, Peck formula, trough width parameter, volume loss.
Volume loss is mainly related with engineering geology, hydrogeological conditions, tunnel construction methods, construction technology level and the experience of project management.
The value of i can be get through counter-analysis of Formula (1) based on the measured data of ground settlement, and then the value of η can be get by the following formula: (4) Fitting contrast of measured settlement curve with Peck formula The engineering background of this paper is a shield construction segment of Xi'an metro line 2, geological conditions of this segment are as follows: artificial fill, new loess, fossil soil, silty clay, silt, fine sand, medium sand and grit etc.
