With higher values in medicine, ornamentation and food, L. regale is an important breeding material and a rare wild flower germplasm resource.
Materials and Methods Research area and sampling At 1200–2000 meters above sea level, with drought-enduring brushwood as the main vegetation type, the research area is located in the counties of Wenchuan, Lixian and Maoxian which are situated along the arid valley of the upper reaches of the Minjiang River, in the main stream of the Minjiang River and the narrow stretches of its tributary Zagu’nao River [11].
