The selection of materials for neural therapeutic applications depends on various factors like bio-inert and toxicity.
In general, materials such as metal wires, silicon, porous silicon and polyimide are commonly selected as the materials for the neural probes applications [1-6].
As the materials having a far higher mechanical hardness as compare to the brain matter, the probes which is not compatible to the brain movement will damage the surrounding brain tissue which lead to complications [7] as shown in Fig 1.
