Cu2O samples obtained in this way were coarse-grained and showed virtually theoretical density, as well as the total concentration of impurities in this material was lower than 10-5 %.
During last 60 years the application of this method greatly contributed to the better understanding of the mechanism of high temperature corrosion of metallic materials, and in particular in explaining the type of predominant defects in the number of transition metal oxides and sulphides.

Pores favour the oxidation reactions and their number and morphology determine the final weight gain and the composition of the scales formed after the oxidation tests [7-9] It has also been noticed that PM ferritic stainless steels perform better than austenitic stainless steels during high-temperature exposures: they tend to form more protective oxides [7,10,11], suffer lower weight gains [7,10,11] and are less prone to cracking due to thermal shock [9,12].
This effect can be due to a microstructural change during the oxidation process, mainly the grain growth at temperatures higher than 800ºC.

In this research, the constituents of RPC are as follows: cement with fines of 3400 cm 2/g (Portland cement made in China); quartz sand with grain size is of 0.16 mm to 0.315 mm, 0.315 mm to 0.63 mm and 0.63 mm to 1.0 mm; active mineral powder, including high-quality silica fume with a specific surface exceeding 200,000 cm 2/g; high-range water-reducing agent that have good compatibility with the cement and the water reduction ratio is above 32 %; and steel fibers with a diameter of 0.22 mm, lengths from 12 mm to 15 mm ,and a strength of 1800 MPa.

Numerical Simulation of Micro-extrusion of Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 BMG A large number of studies [19-21]have shown that the deformation behavior of metallic glasses, transfers from Newtonian flow to non-Newtonian flow as the strain rate exceeds a critical value during the deformation in the super-cooled liquid state.

The benefits include remarkably reduced sintering time and temperatures, which minimizing grain growth often leading to improved mechanical [2], thermal [3]or optical properties [4].
In particular, the commercial software MultiphysicsTM 3.4 (COMSOL, Inc., Stockholm, Sweden) has been adopted (degrees of freedom and number of elements are about 22000 and 3000, respectively).

The aspect ratio of the Plakor platelets (5-10), with the sharp edges, gives special properties, which can be advantageous compared to fused aluminum oxide grains and round-shape alumina powder.
Therefore it is suggested that two types of pore former are used, one with an elongated shape to improve the gas flow in the porous body, and the second of round-shape, to improve the mechanical strength of the anode material (by reducing the number of large pores).

The re-nucleation associated with successive deposition of sublayers lowers the grain size and prevents the growth of pores and defects in the coating.
The improvement of the corrosion resistance of coated substrate is due to the multilayered structure design which act as protective inner materials and reduce the number of pinholes in the coating.

It is well known that the main deformation systems for hcp-structured magnesium alloys at room temperature are both 00011120 basal slip and 1012 twinning, and then operation of twinning system is easy because of the limited number of active slip systems for yielding.

A large number of theoretical and mathematical models showed that the wear characteristics of the material were not only related to the hardness and toughness of the material itself, but also to those of abrasive particles [2-5].
When the abrasive grain size is constant, the friction coefficient is affected by the depth of the texture: the deeper the texture is, the better it can accommodate the abrasive particles, while the influence of the diameter of the surface texture is small.
