The ABO3-type structure could be doped at A-site, B-site or co-doped at A-site and B-site with low-valence ions to generate oxygen vacancy for oxygen-ion conductivity [3].
The immediate XRD test shown in Fig.1 (d) indicates that GCAO with orthorhombic structure demonstrates no XRD changes and exhibits adequate stability.
Fine GCAO powder with orthorhombic structure demonstrates sufficient structural stability from low to high temperature, adequate chemical stability against reducing atmosphere and desirable thermal stability in air up to 1200 oC according to XRD and TGA results.
