Other bio-based materials like polyhydroxyalkanoates (in our case PHBV) could be associated with PLA in order to improve its gas barrier properties and/or its mechanical properties.
One of the most prominent polymers among these materials is poly(lactic acid) (PLA), a biodegradable, thermoplastic, aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch (in the U.S.A.) or sugarcanes (in the rest of the world).
In a second step, the thermoformability of both films was studied and the final barrier properties of the materials measured.
Experimental Materials Ingeo 2002D, a Poly(lactic acid) (PLA) from Nature works developed for extrusion and thermoforming was used.
The very short heating time has certainly not led to crystallization of the materials, even if Guinault et al [2] and Lorenzo and al [7] have already shown that increasing crystallinity does not automatically lead to an increase in barrier properties.

The information of materials’ types, quantities and inventories, the activities of teams and members, and the equipments operation must be the sources of quality management.
Through an infrastructure project life cycle, infrastructure project state, team members’ action and state of equipments and materials are constantly changing.
The RFID tags stick on materials, equipments, members and traffic tools, etc.
In the infrastructure project, the data of materials’ type and quantity, members’ tasks, traffic lines, etc. can be saved in the chips of the RFID tags.
After any operation in project process, the information of the materials, members and traffics will be changed.

His research found that high cutting speed, low feed rate with low depth of cut resulted to better surface finish for special materials.
Aircraft components such as ribs, jacks, brackets, etc. are made of Aluminum alloy material.
Experimental Procedure In this study, Aluminum alloy 6061 was used as test material.
The type of material machined and the type of cutting tool used play an important role in the kind of surface characteristics produced.

Introduction The production of confined or adsorbed drugs in inorganic matrix has been increasing in areas like material science and pharmaceutical due to the possibility of the production of nanoadsorbed or encapsulated molecules with new properties such as chemical stability, solubility enhancing and controlled release, what implies in new applications of materials.
Results and discussion The material surface has a high porosity level, as can be seen at the SEM analysis (Figure 2).
