Since both surface chemistry and topography affect the nucleation and growth of CaP, the present study investigated the CaP deposition behavior of alkali-heat modified Ti surfaces under hydrothermal conditions.
Crystalline structures were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD; X’Pert Pro MPD, CuKα, 35mA, 45kV).

The consolidation rate of colloidal particles and the structure of a consolidated powder cake
are affected by particle size, the concentration of particles, the interaction energy between the
colloidal particles, and the rheological properties.
