By calculation from XRD data, the average grain size of
the powders is 29nm while the grain size of Si3N4 powder
prepared by sol-gel carbon thermal process [5] at 1500
o
C
is 100~400nm.
This reveals that when the addition of glucose is higher than the theoretical value, the carbon thermal reduction will be promoted and the amorphous SiO2 will be fully turned into Si3N4 crystal.

In the condition of microwave radiation, polar water molecules and droplet of electric would quickly turn or produce charge displacement with the change of electric field, thus disturbing the orderly arrangement of liquid-liquid interface charge, and causing the destruction of electric double layer structure and reduction of Zeta potential.
