Abstract.
In traffic engineering, the stopping sight distance is a crucial concept represents the least driving distance of a vehicle when stopping before static obstacles, which can be used to guide road design.

Keywords: Pipeline damage detection; ultrasonic guided wave; numerical simulation; reflection coefficient; corrosion damage; energy density.
The energy analysis method In the paper, the parameter-based method such as the total energy density and power flow, etc., can be used instead of different distribution of stresses and displacements, to select detection of guided wave mode and its frequency when ultrasonic guided wave is used to identify the damage of tubular structure[9,10].Most pipelines buried underground or in water in practical engineering, which have impacts on the pipeline structure damage detection, because the water, oil or gas are filled inside the pipeline, and the soil, water outside, making the guided wave greatly diffused.
