The antimicrobial materials developed rapidly at late 1990s in China, and the landmark event is that the National Engineering Research Center of Engineering Plastic convert the inorganic antimicrobial technology of Institute of Chemistry Chinese acadamy of Science into industrial technology and applied the technology in producing Haier refrigeratory in 1998 successfully, which became the pioneer of using antimicrobial household appliances.
The antimicrobial materials used in hardware furniture (such as desks, wardrobes, etc.) need to be treated using antimicrobial ,but the soft furniture need to be treated dipping and spraying anti-bacterial. [1] In the trends of energy saving and environmental protection ,the development of furniture industry must focus on safety and health .The choices of consumer in furniture will go up from the perceptual to rational ,from the style and structure to the safety and health.

Abstract: A new Modifier with Silicon radicals as anchoring group and poly(butyl acrylate) as solvatable chain was synthesized and its effect on the properties of HDPE/Anhydrite composites was investigated in this paper.
The prerequisites to this result lie in the establishment of a suitable phase structure and interfacial adhesion in the composites.
