Introduction
New and existing materials and joining technologies have been introduced to the automotive
industry to achieve the goal of lightweight.
Blanking force is affected by many factors, such as the mechanical properties of materials, sheet thickness, the die-clearance, the velocity of punch and so on, but the most important factors are the sheet material and thickness.
