If loads affecting the system are not sufficiently known, mechanical strength may be exceeded and the system may fail.
Summing up, there is no comprehensive approach that accounts systematically for all influencing factors, such as ingoing product properties, disturbances, control steps, manual operations, machine accuracy, etc.
The example of the tripod system shows that component properties like geometric variations as well as a wide range of uncertain factors during assembly could affect the expected function.
By a consistent description of uncertain properties in the states and the influencing factors in the processes, it is a basis for a holistic approach of uncertainty analysis.
These are a) geometric, b) material, c) mechanical, d) electrical, e) economical and f) additional properties, Fig. 3.

The mechanical properties of steel include mechanical strength, hardness, impact toughness, and fracture toughness.
In general, each steel has a different mechanical property directly affected by its chemical composition [1].
The fatigue crack properties of steel are significantly affected by the heat-treatment condition [2, 5, 6].

Al-Si-Cu alloy is seldom use in its untreated state due to its relatively poor mechanical properties.
Mechanical properties are principally controlled by the cast structure; therefore structural factors in Al-Si are more important for study.
A number of factors define the metallurgical structure in Al-Si castings and that determines the properties.
Heat treatment is one of the major factors used to enhance the mechanical properties of heat-treatable Al-Si alloys, through an optimization of both solution and aging heat treatments.
Effect of Different Heat Treatment on Mechanical Properties Mechanical properties of Al-Si alloys are strongly dependent upon an appropriate heat treatment technology.

Steel slag is alkaline slag, with lower temperature, the viscosity increases sharply, the liquidity variation, it is one of the important factors affect the steel slag processing, According to the need for different liquidity of steel slag to choose the corresponding steel slag treatment technology.
According to mineral composition of steel slag, regardless of the quenching or slow cold they are all in crystal mineral, not the vitreous body structure. 2.3 Cementitious property of steel slag Cementitious property of steel slag (steel slag activity) is the important parameters which affects the effect and way of use.
The influence factors to steel slag are mainly basicity and the content of silicate. 2.3.1 Basicity of steel slag Steel slag basicity can evaluate the cementitious property of steel slag to a certain extent, the basicity of steel slag which is used in cement standard should be above 1.8, but the improvement of cementitious property of steel slag is not get along with the development of basicity of steel slag, the alkalinity of steel slag is usually between 3.0~4.5 when cementitious property gets best result [4].
Conclusions (1)The feasibility of steel slag which is used in the production of cement, admixture of high performance concrete, road engineering lies in its cementitious property, the influence factors of cementitious property are the basicity of steel slag and the content of silicate in steel slag
The main factors influencing the stability of steel slag are the morphological changes of dicalcium silicate (C2S), the content of free calcium oxide and free magnesium oxide in steel slag

Sub-dry cooling Under the same condition of cutting parameters and cutting tool, the main factors affecting the cutting force are work-piece material, cooling methods and cutting-tool wear.
And among these factors, material is the most important.
The study shows that body-centered cubic (bcc) crystal will become brittle when the cutting temperature is low and the metal's internal lattice dislocation affects its mechanical properties.
This can be analyzed as follows: In the process of cutting, the most important factor affecting the tool life is the cutting temperature at the cutting point.
The main factors affecting the dimensional stability of the machined parts are the work-piece temperature and the variation of the tool wear during a cutting process.

Different mechanical properties are also studied for all the composites in order to find the effect of filler concentration.
Different electrical and mechanical properties of these composites were studied at various filler concentration.
The influence of the filler on electrical and mechanical properties of these nanocomposites was also measured.

The fundamental component of machined PcBN cutting tool affected layer was obtained and the reason of begetting affected layer was analyzed.
Ko-Ta Chiang in his paper told us that the main two significant factors on the value of the material removal rate (MRR) were the discharge current and the duty factor.
To a certain extent, the existence of surface affected layer has affected the service life of cutting tool, and has became the second important elements that affected cutting tool life besides the geometry size factor.
The workpiece material and technological parameter of electrical discharge machining influence the affected layer thickness and its physical mechanical property.
The WC, WN and TiO are showed in the affected layer

Because of its "sealing ring thin-walled, large deformation, precision" on the whole, the development of metallic sealing rings are extremely difficult, and the design analysis process is affected by many factors, design analysis affected by many factors.
Under high temperature, the strength of the material is still very good, its oxidation resistance, fatigue, fracture toughness, plastic and other comprehensive performance are very good also, the basic mechanical properties parameters are shown in Table 1[3].
These factors have a lot of uncertainty and is unable to avoid, Therefore, are considered in the analysis is very difficult.
This article selected the plane that W metallic sealing ring contact with the top and bottom of flange as the target surface, Considering the influence of friction factors, choose the coulomb friction model, According to mechanical design manual [5] standards, selected the friction coefficient of 0.15.

The Effect of Powder Size on Thermoelectric Properties of 95%Bi2Te3-5%Bi2Se3 Alloy S.J.
It is expected that microstructure and oxygen content of consolidated alloy vary with initial alloy powder size and this effects will be able to affect the thermoelectric properties.
It is indicative that the higher peak intensity is relating to the preferred orientation of grains and the statistical distribution of basal planes will affect the thermoelectric properties by scattering factor and carrier mobility.
Two factors can affect the electrical registivity.
It is well known that the power factor [8] is descried as α2/ρ is also another expression of thermoelectric properties and thermoelectric figure of merit (z) is proportional to power factor.
