The relations between axial compressive strength and cubic compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and cubic compressive strength are established to provide a design basis for engineering applications.
This paper is just based on such advanced research to study the basic mechanical properties of that type of rubber concrete and establish through tests and analyses the functional relations between the cubic compressive strength and axial compressive strength, splitting tensile strength to provide a basis for engineering applications.
Conclusions (1) The relations are established by regression between axial compressive strength and cubic compressive strength as well as splitting tensile strength and cubic compressive strength for ordinary strength grade rubber concrete, with a good correlativity and providing a basis for engineering applications of rubber concrete

Study on Vertical Bearing Capacity and Time Effect of the Jacked-in PHC Pipe Pile in the Cohesive Soil Area Hongliang Zuo1, a, Lei Wang2, b, Hongying Gao3, c and Liang Guo1, d 1College of Civil Engineering, Northeast Forestry University, Harbin, Heilongjiang, 150040, China 2Heilongjiang Province Construction Technique Development Centre, Harbin, Heilongjiang, 150046, China 3Tianjin Land Resources and House Vocational College, Tianjin, 300270, China azhl9163@163.com, bwanglei_lls@yahoo.com, clinker8224@163.com, dgld1128@163.com Keywords: cohesive soil area, jacked-in PHC pipe pile, vertical bearing capacity, final pressure, time effect.
According to the time effect formula, the vertical bearing capacity at different periods of the jacked-in PHC pipe pile can be obtained, the cost of the foundation engineering can be reduced by considering the time effect influence to the vertical bearing capacity of the jacked-in PHC pipe pile.
The higher ultimate end resistance and vertical ultimate bearing capacity of single pile can be obtained, and then the cost of the foundation pile engineering can be reduced sharply.
Besides, the vertical bearing capacity of the jacked-in PHC pipe pile will change along with the interruption period lengthens, this is called the time effect of bearing capacity which is important for reduce the cost of the engineering that considering the time effect influence to vertical bearing capacity of the pile adequately.
