Fatigue degradations in ferroelectric materials have been ascribed to the presence of trapped space charges due to the oxygen vacanices and other defects by various researchers [8-10].
The starting materials were commercially available SrO (99.9% in purity, Sigma-Aldrich Chemical Company, Inc.), Bi2O3 (99.9% in purity, Acros Organics), Ta2O5 (99% in purity, Sigma-Aldrich Chemical Company, Inc.) and WO3 (99.9% in purity, Sigma-Aldrich Chemical Company, Inc.).

The thermoelectric device is made up of two legs of different materials, freely suspends across two heat sinks (also electrodes) kept at the initial temperature, which act as the cold end.
Due to the Seebeck effect of the thermoelectric materials, the temperature difference between thermoelectric component and heatsink surface will generate a DC thermoelectric potential.
