In addition, the wide use of new materials and difficult-to-machine materials has further increased the requirements for hole processing technology.
When the internal stress of the material reaches the yield limit, plastic deformation will occur along the feed direction; after the material is plastically deformed, the drilling mechanism has been changed, some of the workpiece material is cut by the cutting edge to form the chip, and the other part of the material is subjected to squeezing action of the bit leading to plastic flow, and the deformation degree of the material increases with the feed movement of the drill bit; finally, the deformation amount of the material at the exit of the workpiece reaches a maximum value, and cracks are generated under the further pressing of the chisel edge. the cracks are extending radially to the outside of the hole, and finally remaining around the hole to form a burr in the cutting-out-feed direction.
