Introduction As one kind of the lightest engineering materials, magnesium alloys have a great potential for wide application in the automotive industry due to their high strength-to-gravity ratios[1].
The workpiece material used was the AZ31 magnesium alloy (composition (W/%): Al-3, Mn-0.2, Zn-1, Mg- Balance).
If the exit temperature is kept varying in a certain range, not only product quality consistency but also productivity, material yield and die service life can be improved.
