The alkali resistance and fitness with concrete of most of glass fiber can not meet the engineering requirements, and aramid fiber products are mainly from abroad, its price and performance have not been the accepted by the industry, its application has been limited.Basalt fiber is a kind of inorganic and it can be natural degradation of new environmental protection materials .The mechanical properties of basalt fiber is lower than carbon fiber, but rather with aramid fiber, glass fiber, and its price was only 1/10 of carbon fiber [4], much lower than the aramid fiber and glass fiber. The fitness with the working environment of basalt fiber is better than glass fiber and aramid fiber and have cost-effective, therefore, development of basalt fiber reinforced bridge research has significant social and economic benefits.
