The yield strength and the tensile strength of the materials are 355.8 MPa and 491.7 MPa for the specimens, respectively.
Both material and geometric nonlinearities were included in the analysis.
The model was based on the measured dimensions and material properties of the test specimens.

Experimental Raw Materials.PII42.5R Portland cement was produced by Zhujiang Cement Plant, Guangzhou, China, the chemical composition of cement refers to Table 1, and physical properties refers to Table 2.
Moreover, from figure 1 and figure 2, it is clear that, after addition of PVA, the flexible strength / compressive strength (about 1/6) of the cement based materials with PVA, is far bigger than that of the cement based materials without PVA (about 1/10).
