In present work, a study was undertaken to isolate and identify a newly isolated acidophilic heterotrophic bacteria from the acid mine drainages of Yi-yang stone coal, Hunan Province, China.
Isolation of heterotrophic bacteria YY-2 A water sample was collected from acid mine drainages of stone coal, located at Yi-yang, Hunan province, China. 10% of the water sample was injected into BSYG medium and cultured in a constant temperature shaker 120 r/min, 28℃.
