So the contact angles are calculated for changing parameters, i.e. size of the pore, length of the hydrophobic material, velocity (pressure) of water flows into the pore.
The colloidal damper has been investigated by experimental way and the followings are clarified by static experiments: Range of available pressure, performance for frequency or temperature, fatigue life of hydrophobic material, strength of silica gel for high pressure, relation of the capacity ratio of water and silica gel, the difference in the dissipation energy by difference in the diameter of a pore and hydrophobic molecule and so on [5].
