In normal cases, the homogeneous and continuous deformation of granular materials is unlikely.
Due to the structural properties of granular materials, deformation or displacement of granules under external force is extremely heterogeneous.
It is more extensively applicable than shape function method; (2) Shape parameter-based method can greatly improve the accuracy of deformation analysis of granular materials, such as rock and soil materials

Based on the excellent functions of giant magnetostriction material (GMM), a new intelligent material, especially its self-sensing characteristic, a new water hydraulic jet pipe servo valve driven by GMM self-sensing actuator is put forward.
