Parameters of rock mass and constitutive model
There are six kinds of rock mass materials used in the simulation, including moraine deposit, alluvial deposit, and fully weathered, strongly weathered, weakly weathered, new bedrock.
The physical and mechanical parameters of materials used in the simulation are given in Table 1.
All the materials are considered as ideal plastic.

Experimental and Results
The experimental testing campaign has requested the manufacturing of chemical-designed materials due to difficulties in purchasing it from the market.
The materials were manufactured, under ENEA requirements, certified research facility in Italy, obtaining six experimental ingots.
The base materials to evaluate the welding parameters were 10 plates (dimensions: 100 × 170 × 3 mm with a tolerance of +/ - 0,15 mm) and additional 22 plates were used to the welded coupons.
