Er-doped materials are of particular importance in optical communication technology due to their excellent performance as gain media for amplifiers and lasers at the telecommunication wavelength of 1.5 mm.
Many combinations of Er-doped materials with optical gain have been demonstrated till now.
In recent years, Er-doped high index contrast materials have generated great interest and will allow strong confinement of light, ultra compact photonic devices and non-linear processes at moderate power levels.

It has also been known that the materials properties associated with phase transitions deteriorate during loading and temperature cycles, which has been a research topic for SMAs for long time.
The total strain within one loading cycle of SMAs is quite large (1-5%) compared to the strain of other materials, such as steels and ceramics.

SHPB(Split Hopkinson Press Bar) can be used as test system to determine dynamic mechanics characteristic of brittle materials.
Most experimental and researchers think that the dynamic stress balance should be satisfied in the system to perform fracture test of brittle materials.

Select of materials, blending ratio and yarn linear density, fabric thickness and density of different cotton fabrics as experimental material.
Here with the coefficient of thermal conductivity to distinguish between different raw materials and blended ratio, not as a performance of thermal and moisture comfortable cotton fabric.
