The selection of constitutive models input parameters is done on the standard tests outcomes as the common part of geological engineering surveys.
The difficulty of using this model is contained in additional input stiff parameters, which aren’t measured in geological engineering researches.
Parameters for Linear Elastic Model and Mohr-Coulomb Model are appointed as common soil characteristics from typical geological engineering survey.
Selection of sil models and parameters for geotechnical engineering application.
American Society of Civil Engineers, 2005.

Introduction
As the basic data of rock engineering analysis and design, rock mechanical parameters can reflect the engineering characteristics of rock mass.
The results of the research may fill the gap in this field, and provide reference for the determination of physical and mechanical parameters in geotechnical engineering.
The study of the intrinsic relationship between porosity and mechanical properties is of great significance to solve practical problems in petroleum, geology, mining, metallurgy, civil engineering and hydraulic engineering.

Many engineering measures were developed to control landslide hazards.
Different analysis methods have been developed to evaluate slope stability with engineering control measures.
Numerical modelling set up FLAC3D is a three-dimensional explicit finite-difference program for geotechnical engineering computation, which has been widely used in many applications, such as mining engineering, tunnel engineering, and civil engineering, etc..
However, most of the cross-section of the anti-sliding pile in the engineering practice is rectangular.

Application of Pine Piles for Strengthening High Slope Channel Retaining Walls on Soft Soil Subgrade
Online since: October 2013
Authors: Tan Shu Yang, Yang Qu Tan, Cui Juan Luo
Engineering Situation
Zhongzhou channel is started to be built with soil section in 1959.
The channel section is narrow and deep and there are footways, which are 5m wide and next to civil houses, on each bank of the channel.
Engineering quantities and construction difficulties will be increased and foundation bottom stress will also be added.
Considering engineering investment, engineering quantities, construction period and other factors, it can be ascertained that floors of side walls are located on the silt soil layer, the height of walls range from 4.0m to 6.0m.
