The strain hardening behavior of the weld and the engineering strain at necking are remarkably well predicted.
Fig. 4: Engineering stress-strain curves for the friction stir weld comparing the experimental and simulated results using different estimates for θIV.
Fig. 5: Predicted local equivalent plastic strain, pMε , in the weld (case 3) for (a) 9% of global engineering strain and (b) well into void coalescence.
However, at a global engineering strain of 9%, only very limited void nucleation and growth has occurred.

Abstract.
In order to understand the highway defects and diseases related traffic engineering test center for quality supervision station were detected across the board, some of the detection results of the project are summarized in Table 1.
In combination with engineering practice, through material selection and grading design, the design of the treatment structure, the use of the drainage layer of class structure, eliminate stagnant water inside the pavement structure and other measures, mainly to solve the problem of water damage to asphalt pavement.
From the engineering cost saving, convenient construction and ensure the construction period, the general sections of upper layer of recommended AC-13C.That is shown as in Table 3.

Abstract.
Shallow tunnel excavation method[2] is a construction method that Wang academicians in China sets up according to NATM principles and combined with a large number of engineering practice in our country started , this method is currently the most widely used in our country, and perfected continuously in the practical engineering, especially in hard rock tunnel, generally using this method to the construction in our country.

Observations have been made for physical and engineering properties based on the fluid- and harden-state of the samples.
For most engineering applications, specification requires an averaged flowability ranging from 20 to 30 cm [5].

Through mixing different amount of waste asphalt concrete, fiber and fly ash, to study how those factors improve the crack resistance of waste asphalt concrete fiber cement stabilized macadam materials on the basis of having no affect on its mechanical properties, so as to adapt to the requirements for material anti-cracking performance of engineering construction.
The common ways for actual situation of engineering like covering with thin film or wet grass mat, or wet curing by water spraying frequently, which plays an important role in preventing and reducing dry shrinkage crack.
Drying Shrinkage Test Drying Shrinkage Test Results The preparation and maintenance of test specimens and the drying shrinkage test are conducted in strict accordance with the relevant provisions in highway engineering stable inorganic binder material test procedures (JTG E51-2009), the specific drying shrinkage test data of each specimen in different time periods are shown in Table3.

As an important issue in geotechnical engineering, engineers paid particular attention to evluate the stability of tailings, analyze the possible deformations and take measures correspondingly.
Most importantly, when performing analysis with Duncan-Chang modified model, do not forget to use engineer’s experience and judgment.
