Engineering site was located at the test section of T-shaped bidirectional soil-cement deep mixing column on Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway, in which, the soft soil layer had a 10-20m depth.
Because the roadbed was divided into several layers to fill, whether measured value or calculated value, excess pore water pressure increased rapidly when filling soil, then dissipated slowly, which repeated until the engineering was finished completely.
