Briefly, the starting materials 8%mol MgO was dissolved in 0.5 mol/L ZrOCl2.8H2O solutions to form mixed solution.
With the temperature increased to 800°C and 950°C, diffraction pattern of the tetragonal phase and monoclinic phase exist in the composites, As the temperature further increased to 1100°C, all of the materials mainly exhibit monoclinic phase.
